Benjamin Shapira Concert From Jerusalem to Carnegie Hall The Jewish Historical Society of Napa Valley is once again sponsoring this amazing Israeli musician.

Postponed until Fall 2008 Renowned Israeli cellist, Benjamin Shapira, was recognized at a very early age.
He was part of a selected group of protégé young artists carefully handpicked by Isaac Stern. Shapira’s international career was launched after his celebrated Carnegie Hall performance of the Complete Bach Suites for Cello Solo. Shapira is in constant demand performing all over the United States and abroad. Benjamin Shapira will be accompanied by Shulamith Shapira on piano. A mother and son duo, this unique ensemble is in great demand, performing frequently together internationally.
